Director: Jenny L. Davis

Jenny L. Davis is the Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt Chair and Professor of Sociology at Vanderbilt University with a secondary appointment in the College of Connected Computing (CCC). She is an Honorary Professor of Sociology at The Australian National University, an alumni affiliate at the Center for Democracy and Technology, and Founding Co-Director of VU's Computing + Society area within the CCC. Dr. Savannah Bastian oversees all SocAI Lab projects and mentors the lab's junior researchers. Savannah's own research focuses on gender & sexuality, culture, and emergent technologies. She is trained across qualitative and quantitative methods.
